HAVE, Inc. Authors DVD Project for ON THE FRONTLINES
Hudson, NY April 2009 - HAVE, Inc. provided a wide range of multimedia services for ON THE FRONTLINES to help complete and distribute their new DVD series, ON THE FRONTLINES: DOING BUSINESS IN CHINA.
About ON THE FRONTLINES: DOING BUSINESS IN CHINA
ON THE FRONTLINES is the most practical and valuable tool available for American executives to learn the nuances of Chinese business culture, which are often the difference between success and failure. The ON THE FRONTLINES team spent the better part of three years in China, shooting over 800-hours of HD (high definition) footage. Over 200 interviews were shot, and over 150 of those interviews are in the final edited 6-disc DVD/CD series. What was so extraordinary is that the ON THE FRONTLINES crew roamed and shot freely throughout China, without a "minder" from Beijing.
The program is structured to allow viewers to watch their choice of six hours, eight hours, or eleven hours of video, and the included CD-Rom contains further vital business information. HAVE personnel worked closely with ON THE FRONTLINES director Bob Schapiro, producer Dovar Chen, and program editor Hisayo Kushida. HAVE converted the extensive HD material into pristine high quality SD (standard definition) files, for authoring a five DVD, one CD, 6-disc set. HAVE's technical work was led by Chris Harvey, Manager of MultiMedia Technical Services, who authored the programs, with HAVE's VP of Technical Services, Paul Swedenburg, contributing. Under tight deadlines, Senior Account Representative Kim McLean led the overall project coordination, which included custom printing and packaging for the project's retail distribution.
