In Sandy's own words, "a few thoughts about HOW I CHANGED THE WORLD..." (the new 66 song, 3 CD set of the best songs of Sandy McKnight).
"I suspect many of you don't really know what this album is. it's 66 of my best songs, written over the last 30 years. most are performed by me, although there are a number performed by artists who have covered my songs. the few people who've heard this collection have honestly been blown away. there isn't a throw-away cut on any of the 3 cds. the sound quality is excellent, even on the older recordings, which I recently remastered. the whole package comes in a 12" LP jacket, so it looks like a vinyl record. but inside are 4 cds...3 with music, and 1 with 60 pages of liner notes, pictures, and info on each track. you can load the liner notes cd on an ipad or kindle, or just read it on your laptop...it's a .pdf file. the pictures trace my entire career, from the late 60s to the present. this is a massive project, and i've spent much of the past year refining it. it's now ready for your ears and eyes. on june 27, we'll celebrate the release with a party. in the fall will be a series of live shows.
Please spend the $30 on this album. I promise you'll like most of it, if not all. It runs the musical gamut from a to at least v. less than 50 cents a song for something you'll listen to over and over again. thanks!"

Just a note about one of Sandy's other ventures of reknown. Along with co-founders Liv Cummins and Christina Dellea, Sandy runs not-for-profit Columbia Arts Team. CAT is dedicated to showcasing new work by local theater, comedy, and music artists in Columbia County, NY and its environs. CAT also provides educational and performing opportunities for young people and adults. CAT's programs are accessible and affordable to all, regardless of income, bringing people together and enriching their lives and communities through the performing arts.
